Hello
I attached programs individually, no managers.
Later, came messages as: This project seems to have changed its URL. When convenient, remove the project, then add http://
Can not remove, since the button is grayied.
Reinstalled software - no luck.
WHAT CAN I DO?
Thank you

If this message is coming from World Community Grid then no action is required as it's a known invalid error message. There is no news when this will be resolved.

Why the heck do we need this aggravation?
In 2000 I joined SETI and there where no fuss at all...
All worked ok from the beginning...

I assume you are seeing this message in the messages tab or window, which presents an abbreviated message - if you go the the advanced view, then tools/event log you get a new window, and be able to see the whole of the message - there wil be a lot of messages , but the one you are looking for is normally highlighted in red and looks something like:
03/06/2023 16:28:31 | World Community Grid | This project seems to have changed its URL. When convenient, remove the project, then add http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/

As stated previously this is an invalid message and can be safely ignored.

It is nearly twenty years since SETI@Home stopped using the "classic" way of working and started to use the BOINC environment, so welcome to the brave new world of BOINC.....

Yes!
OK!
I'm a dinosaur!
But can I do anything else that remove myself from any account, and then renew from zero?

If - when you select the project - the Remove button is gray, you have added that project via a different method: an account manager. Easily checked under the Tools menu. If you see "Synchronize with X", where X is a name, then you're (part) using that account manager. And then you'll have to go to the website of that account manager to remove the project.

Yes! Me - stupid!
I added all through Science United...
I updated them as you indicated, so, for now, all is OK.
I hope I graduated from Dynosaur Age...
Many thanks, Jord!
