I have a Apple Studio M1 Max it is running Ventura 13.3.1. and has v7.16.11 of BOINC loaded. have Asteroid@Home, Einstein@Home, and Milkyway@home running. without issues. Unlike the Windows versions I have run for many years the Mac version in simple view has no click tabs on the top, nothing. Nor can I find anyway of getting to the advanced screen. I want to configure it to run when the Mac is inactive like I always did with my Windows machines. I am unable to find anything that allows me to do that. I have operated BOINC on Windows machines for nearly 20 years. This is my first use of it with a Mac.

Thanks for the Help
Ken

I went searching through the BOINC Mac issues on Github. I see a post that shows the Manager view and the Simplified view is CTRL+SHFT+V

Could be a toggle to get to Advanced View.

I also see an issue that says that the Manager is not rendered correctly in Dark Mode. If you have Dark Mode enabled, turn it off and see if the menus appear.

The control-shift-V command takes me to the Applications menu, and right click on the Bonic icon has nothing to take me to the advanced screen.

Best to post this issue at the Github repo for BOINC and flag it for attention of Charlie Fenton who is the Mac developer.

Don't know about the Mac but on my Linux BOINC CTRL Shift V takes me to basic view and CTRL Shift A to advanced view.

The OP found the answer from the Mac developer over on Github.
Problem solved the tabs do not reside on the simple screen on macOS. instead with the application open click the BOINC Manager icon in the top upper left hand corner. This will open a tile with all of the configuration controls. Pays to ask the question with BOINC's programers on GitHub.
