Seems like Einstein and Rosetta still don't work on Android 10/11/12, and WCG and Universe@home are currently going through some maintenance.
Any other projects that work? LHC doesn't seem to give out any jobs.

I have no problem with Universe or Einstein in Android 11 (64 bit).
Rosetta is an extremely rare bird on Android and when task do show up they use very large amounts of storage & ram that my 2 phones complain that they are running out of storage and/or free ram.
They are the only 3 besides WCG that run on 64 bit Android right now. The remaining few projects need 32 bit libraries that are not part of 64 bit and currently there is no way to "sideload" that.
Are you using the latest version of the Android app - Version 7.18.1? It's only available from this BOINC site as linked to the left.

Using 7.18.1 on my Fairphone3 which is running Android10 I am getting work from both Universe and Einstein.

Universe is just back online today. Was still offline yesterday, due to an SSD issue, the project manager sent an update about it a few days ago.

As far as Einstein, I have no success running it.
Occasionally I get Einstein WUs, but I think just like with Yoyo, or Moo!, they just end up with computation errors.

Ah, I see,
Einstein was set up to do GPU projects only.
What Einstein project runs on ARM?
Following projects are disabled on Einstein, because I don't need to run them on my Intel x86 CPU:

Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo)
Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1
Gamma-ray pulsar search #5
Gravitational Wave search O2 Multi-Directional
Gravitational Wave search O3 All-Sky

The only Application that Einstein has for Android is Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo) (BRP4). If you set your Android devices to be in a different location "Home or School" etc you can enable that application for only Android devices.

Another Project that has one application for Android is Yoyo@home. Their Cruncher ogr application has an Android application.

I am completing these tasks with the following system
ARM
ARMv7 Processor rev 3 (v7l) [Impl 0x41 Arch 7 Variant 0x0 Part 0xc07 Rev 3]

Android
3.10.9-12390409 (Android 7.1.1)

You are running on Android 7.1.1, which is 32 bit.

Yoyo's ogr app is only 32 bit, it will start to run on 64 bit and fail at about 1 minute or less.

Currently, it's Universe, or one of the Einstein sub-projects.

WCG will be back in about a month or two aver their server migration. Rosetta is iffy for anyone that won't/can't do the Python tasks....

YoYo and Moo arent for newer Androids....

Where do I enable it for only android devices?
The android client doesn't have any configuration for this.

I set it to school, and then did:
DEFAULT SET >> Set used for new computers: >>YES

So far it hasn't downloaded any new content yet.

Since they are already attached and listed at the projects...
You need to set each device/phone/computer on each project to the corresponding location (home/work, etc), then do an update command for the projects on each device to pick up the new settings.

So I've created a school profile, and Einstein seems to work on my Galaxy A51 (with Samsung Exynos 7 9611), however it doesn't seem to work on my Galaxy A72 (with Snapdragon 720G CPU).
Initially, Einstein said 'downloading 13 WUs', but they never downloaded and just disappeared.
Ever since I get no new WUs, and zero downloads on the A72.

My A51 seems to have about 4 WUs loaded, and so far it looks like they're processing, and already has accumulated close to 1000 credits.

The A72 is on the same account, just a different phone.
It doesn't seem to have the 'school' designation on it though.
When I look in my Einstein@home dashboard, only the A51 gets the 'school' designation.

Perhaps Einstein is CPU specific?
Or perhaps the designation somehow didn't take on the new phone?

That sounds more like a comms problem than a CPU problem. Einstein is quite strong on https security. What does the event log say?

Venue designations are set and stored on the server.

1) Event log - those are just the administrative eye-candy files, not the meat of the business - and yet you still couldn't download all of them at the first attempt. For a comms device, it doesn't communicate very reliably.

2) Venue - the 'details' page for my Android device (12858658) ends:

You can only see that part of the page for a machine on your account, so I don't know what you have - but that's where you'd set it.

Thanks!
That worked!
Still strange that I didn't need to do this on the Galaxy A51.

Will add some lhc, Einstein, and other projects on my older TV box servers soon.
