Hi all,

Been running Boinc, mostly Rosetta@Home, for years without issues. However, my fairly new linux box (ubuntu, if it matters, and it is running the latest client version), after running fine for a week or two, can no longer get new tasks.

My syslog is showing lots of "no protocol specified" messages, although not sure if that's related. (Did try 'xhost local:boinc', after finding that online. I think, although not yet positive - not long enough to be sure yet, that that might have worked.)

Just did "boinccmd --get_messages"

Not going to dump the whole thing, but the bottom part (after, perhaps importantly, removing and re-adding the project), shows a bunch of "Requesting new tasks for CPU and NVIDIA GPU"
"Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks"
"No tasks sent"

Not sure how to debug whatever is going on, so would love to hear any suggestions.

Thanks,

Dave Clemmer

As I type Rosetta currently has only 5 tasks to send out https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/server_status.php and 425,205 tasks in progress on people's computers.

Is being discussed on the project forums: no new tasks?. There was some work yesterday evening US time but ran out by morning US time.
