Greetings,

Not new to BOINC. Previously used the BOINC client and Manager both in Windows and Ubuntu Linux 19.10. Recently I switch over to Fedora 32 and now BOINC will not suspend when my computer is active. I have toggled all the settings and the functioning BAM account settings fail to work. Seems like I recall having a similar problem originally in Ubuntu, but for the life of me cannot remember how it was resolved. Google search results on this issue are from several years back so my assumption is that this does not normally affect current distributions. I have spend much time searching and experimenting and tap out. Can anyone help resolve this issue?

Hopefully,
Mike

Known issue with BOINC 7.16.5.
https://github.com/BOINC/boinc/issues/3715
Revert backt to 7.16.3 to get suspend working again until the issue is fixed with a new point release.

Thank you! I didn't even think to search Github. Figured I see something sticking out on the Berkeley page. Fedora 32 version 7.16.6-3 is the troublemaker. So, downgraded to Fedora 32 version 7.16.1-6. Everything working as expected now.

Thanks again!
