No info on their GoofyxGrid@Home NCI.
The forums have been all but dead. Since 2017 some members have repeatedly asked what the project was about on their forums, but the owner said he'd update the page, but I see nothing yet.

And their 'GoofyxGrid@Home CPU' page just gives me a 404.

Goofy CPU hasn't been active in several years and most likely will not be returning.

Goofy NCI moved to a different url: http://nci.goofyxgridathome.net/ several years ago.
The project purpose is vaguely if a bunch of monkeys sat down at a typewriter and randomly hit the keys what are the chances that they will correctly type out the word "Christmas" and the word "Halloween". 🙄

As to why the CPU project is still listed, that's something you need to ask Willy owner/administrator for @BOINCstats

The reason for many "dead" projects not being deleted from the various active lists is that the project, on dying, did not tell the lists that it was in the processing of dying and without that information it has to be assumed that the project is just having a nap in the corner.

Must be the NCI version only. CPU was never reactivated after goofyx could not get the CPU & NCI projects to run on same servers simultaneously.
