Ubuntu 20 seems to have much more optimized parallel workload, compared to 18.

I wonder how it does against Windows?

Is there any sort of benchmark out there to see if the same holds true for boinc projects?

Is Linux // Ubuntu 18.04 that slow, compared to other operating systems, in regards to crunching data?

Interesting. Not too long till the general release comes out when I shall upgrade one machine, see how it goes for a couple of days before probably doing the second. Wonder if there will be the same percentage difference on older hardware?

It's mainly in massive parallel loads,
The article specifies the AMD architecture, because they obviously have a different system than the trusted Intel Xeon processors.
