Recently downloaded newest BOINC client installer boinc_7.14.2_windows_x86_64.exe to my Windows10 Pro v1909 PC. When I launch it ("Run as Administrator" privileges) and allow all users to run BOINC, the installer FAILS stating that it can't find the applicable BOINC,MSI .

I'm posting that here asking for ideas.

Ah, Windows has lost the file, (or it's location), again. Happens all the time.

Try this MS program: Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed

And when you reinstall after that, just use your own administrator account, don't do 'run as administrator' as this is not necessary and may add extra trouble for permission.

My Dell XPS 13 15 installed Windows10 ver.1909 has same trouble. BOINC manager had crashed after ver.1909 installed.
Other probrem, Qualcomm bluethooth driver error ocurred after ver 1909 installed.
Maybe some bugs have the 1909 update patch.
