What do these 2 stats mean in BAM (for every project)?

Every projects seems to have two statistics.
One, eg: Link to position in Asteroids@home World stats based on incremental update
and another one eg: BOINC World position based on RAC

What's the difference between them (other than the numbers being totally different?)

RAC - 'Recent Average Credit' - is your current output.

Incremental update is based on the total credit since the beginning of time, around 2005.
