I often have dreams, but today was special. In today's I soldered a board of hard logic for some kind of BOINK project. Already awake, I thought that this makes sense. If one of the projects, like a mathematical Prime Grid, repeats the same small sequence of calculations time after time, then using hard logic or ПЛИС (PLD-chip) together with some raspberry pi can be cheaper than a motherboard, processor and power supply. And more importantly, such a thing will take up much less space. Tell me, are there any similar projects or is it just the fruit of my sick imagination?
