Phone: OnePlus 5T

I started running the Boinc client a few weeks ago and was processing SETI tasks. Seemed to run fine then today i noticed the tasks alternating between running and suspended every second or two. Not much else running on the phone. Ended up reinstalling and now all tasks it downloaded report Computation error. Attempting to abort/delete them doesn't seem to work, the task remains.

Have you checked whether tasks for other projects run OK?

A couple of things, first SETI does not have complete coverage of all Android versions, thus you may have a version (or phone) that is not covered and as far as I can see that does tend to result in lots of errors. Not knowing which phone and Android version you are using makes it difficult for anyone to give you an accurate answer.

Second SETI has a fairly active set of forum, so, after the current outage post your question over there and you are more likely to get a "sensible" answer. The site will probably be down until about 22:00UTC if the outage follows the usual pattern a "Tuesday morning on the West Coast."
