I downloaded BOINC with its old 5.2.8 Vbox and then upgraded to 5.2.16, but now I am unable to get it to connect even though BOINC can "see" it.

So now I am unable to run any VM tasks.

Virtualization is enabled in BIOS. Double and tripled and quadrupled checked that. So there is something software wrong with BOINC and Vbox. But what?

It is a while since I ran VB. Might be worth adding you BOINC version along with OS type and version for those who know more than I do about things to be able to help. (I have never downloaded VB with BOINC but always installed it separately. Don't know what difference that makes though.
