Hi everyone,

I'm running PrimeGrid (GPU) and WCG (CPU) on my Win 10 Pro with dual 980 TIs running BOINC 7.8.3.

My computer ran the creators update last night (have a dual boot, BOINC runs on only one, haven't run this version of Win10 in awhile), and now it seems all messed up. WCG has tasks working but seeming to be stuck, but that one I'll just write off as corrupted tasks which has happened before. However for the GPU / PrimeGrid - it's a different story.

Before the update for the past 3 days, when PrimeGrid was running 2 tasks, it assigned 1 each to each GPU. So never a problem.

Now it seems it identifies both GPUs, but when running on device 0 and 1, both tasks only run on GPU 0 while GPU 1 is idle.
Turned SLI on and off to no effect.
Ran a game, and both GPUs went active.
Config is running locally.
I suspend all other tasks then try to resume different ones and it doesn't seem to matter.
GPU0 is at 70-80% when running 1 task, but when I activate another goes to 100% while GPU1 stays idle.
Reinstalled BOINC to no effect.

The log is telling you what's wrong: Your Windows Update installed drivers that lack OpenCL. Never use the Windows installed drivers, always install the drivers from Nvidia. When Windows updates itself, it will overwrite your Nvidia installed drivers, so afterwards you'll have to reinstall drivers from Nvidia. Drivers installed by Windows lack certain components, such as OpenCL, that science applications running under BOINC require.

Son of a pup, you're right.

Ok, going to reinstall the Nvidia drivers. Thanks much.
