Macintosh OSX 10.9.5
NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256 MB

I just installed Boinc Manager 7.8.6. Everything worked perfectly before. Now it has been sitting on "connecting to local host" for several hours and not doing anything. No projects loaded. No history. Nothing running.

Is this version not compatible and should I just back off to a prior version?

The developer always advises when you have problems to download the installer fresh, to make sure the last one wasn't corrupt, reinstall BOINC and do a reboot after that.
