BOINC: 7.8.3 64-bit
On: Windows 10
Projects: Einstein@home, Amicable@home, Enigma@home, etc. maybe any projects.
BOINC is installed normally with default settigs.

When a project is working, if I hit remove that project on boincmanager, boincmanager displays a pop-up dialog "Do you want to exit or cancel?". It's strange, so if I hit cancel, boincmanager crashes. Sometimes even boinc client crashes. It's extraordinary.n

I forgot to mention that I am using Windows 10 Insider Preview. So it might be due to Windows itself. So I will check on Windows 10 1709 release.

We had an issue before with the translations (Spanish). Are you using Japanese as the language on these problem computers? Have you tried 7.8.4?
