Just installed this after watching a Numberphile episode on Proth Primes[1]. I'm not even on the latest & greatest Apple hardware (mid-2014 Retina MacBook Pro), but even on its screen the text, and to a lesser extent the graphics, seem to be stuck in some early-2000s resolution.

I'm aware this is insignificant in the (very) grand scheme of all things BOINC, but just what is the app written in that it uses such a low resolution even for the OS-provided items such as buttons, and text items?
