I have 4 computers, and they all run yafu, tngrid, and srbase projects on the CPUs. All were working fine until recently, when one computer started making computation errors (about 80% of the time) on all three projects. The other three computers work perfectly and get almost every single task done correctly on all the projects.

Is there any diagnostics I can do to find out what's wrong? I don't think the CPU can be that badly broken, or Windows 10 would be crashing. The only changes made recently are windows updates and installing an old graphics card (simply for display purposes, not for calculations). It used to have a slightly newer graphics card which I've moved to another machine as I needed more display outputs.

If you go to your account at the project sites and click on the task id's of the failed tasks, what do the error messages say?

What are your Boinc settings for disk usage? Is the allowed disk space running out?
How much memory your computer has? How much memory has it been using while running those different apps at the same time?

No disk limits (set to "0" in settings).
Disk has 28.6GB free of 73.5GB.

Computer has 8GB RAM (so do two of the others, and one has 32GB).
Never seen RAM usage go more than 3GB. It's currently 2.4GB (30%) running 4 tn-grid tasks, each using 38MB each.
Nothing else runs on the machine except antivirus and teamviewer.

One other change I forgot about, Malwarebytes free upgraded itself to full trial, if that might cause a problem? (It's now realtime instead of on demand).

Fixed, removing Malwarebytes sorted it. Strange as Malwarebytes wasn't flagging up a detection.

Some Antivirus just quietly block things and as in your case you don't know it until things don't want to work...

It's the HAL syndrome... I can't let you do that, Dave.

An AV program should always let you know if it's blocked something, if even to just show off that it's protecting you. I won't be using Malwarebytes shit again, and I've told them how rubbish their program is.
