When I enter boincmgr this is my output

and your program used 3.0 (wchar_t,compiler with C++ ABI 1010,wx containers,compatible with 2.8).

I tried using the package from the repositories but it produced the same output. When I try to start it through GUI nothing happens, when I first tried to open the manager after install ing using su -c 'yum install boinc-client boinc-manager' I managed to start it once before I started the client but it looked strange and nothing worked. I closed it then started the client through the command line then tried to open the manager again but didn't work and through the command line produces the above output. Before I tried the manager/client from the repositories
I uninstalled boinc using su -c 'yum remove boinc-client boinc-manager'. I can try and provide more info if needed. As I have only just installed it about 1.5 hours ago it should be the latest version.
