I have been keeping QCN afloat for years (for free) - and I'm a little annoyed a new group has taken over, cut me off etc, considering I worked on it and wrote 99.9% of it for the past 10 years. So I'm thinking of relocating a more permanent and open (ie more open access to any seismologist/scientist) probably in Europe or Asia. If anybody has an idea of some organization within the BOINC community (ie Rechenkraft?) that would be interested in setting up another hopefully more stable and free-access QCN please let me know at carlgt1@hotmail.com. I would start the project fresh ie new users would sign-up etc rather than import terabytes of old data etc.

Carl, one of my teammates was just commenting on possibly having a project idea to learn more about the BOINC server side. I pointed him to this thread in case he was interested. His thread in our team forums was here: https://hardforum.com/threads/new-boinc-project-the-making-of.1941359/

Thanks but it's probably not appropriate for that, there's a lot of customization of the boinc server code for the QCN to work, the credits is totally different from BOINC etc.
