With the resent outage of Seti, I added the Einstein project to my systems. After it returned, I changed resource option on Seti to 300, similar to the example giving one project 100 and the other 200, but nothing happened, it still shows 100 and 100 with 50% for each project. I then changed the Einstein resource to 50, and then it switch to 100/50 with 66%/33%. So, is the process working incorrectly, or is the help incorrect.

You would have to manually update the projects through the BOINC Manager's Projects tab or wait until BOINC contacts the projects itself before the updates take effect and are shown in the Resouce Share column of your Manager.

Sometime after you changed the share the second time, one of the two conditions stated above was satisfied.

100/50 would equal 66%/33%. The number cannot be considered as a fraction. Here is a link to the Unofficial BOINC Wiki that details about resource share. Hope this answers your questions.

Just to note, after making the changes, I did do a manual update, and waited serveral days, and never go the change with the 300 setting for seti. It continued with the 50% for both projects, and 100 for the resources. When I changed the einstein to 50, it then did switch to the 100/50 or 66%/33%
