Certainly not the taxpayers, patients or the medical staff.

In austere times, people cut back due to restricted funds & when the good times roll around again, spend more. This government wants to cut public spending to reduce the deficit which is very commendable.

However...

...so just like families up & down the country during austerity, the government should do the same.

To the rest of us, Jord seems to be doing exactly what a volunteer mod should do: let the conversation meander along without interference until it starts to turn unpleasant, and then step in quickly to calm things down. That's how I tried to play it when I was a mod at SETI, and how I would play it now if I was in a hot seat again.

Mark wasn't banished on Saturday nights because he was called Mark: he was banished, or given six hours to 'cool off' (euphemism), because he was making the place uncomfortable for everyone else. It's the behaviour which is addressed by mods - mod intervention isn't directed ad hominem either.

Jord is biased simple as that. Certain people can say what they want, and others have no right of reply. That to me is not fair.

It's never good enough. If I say nothing, you send mad emails to David that I am not doing my job and need to be removed for that reason.
Do I say something, you post mad posts in the forums that I am biased and that everyone else is my mate and you aren't and that they can say what they want and you cannot reply. And then you email David that I need to be removed for that reason.
