A war between North Korea and the USA isn't a world war

C,mon Jord surley you can see USA attacks NK , then China / Russia etc will get involved and it's amazing how things quickly escelate and don't forget there's one big prick with his " finger on the trigger " who ain't got ANY experiance of this type of situation , ain't exactly the f - ing " Apprentice " is it and guarentee no one will " blow sunshine " up a certain person's stinkhole like they do on the US version of that show .

The world situation is " one big keg of gunpowder " and USA / NK is a pritty " big match" to ignite it

I'm perfectly happy to vote, as often as needed (and I don't even get a vote in the local council elections this year: voting is a rare privilege under this country's version of 'democracy')

But I'll be leaving the country during the election campaign that precedes it... ;)

You've got to give the man credit! Nickerless Clegg sure left his mark on British politics.

No election until 2020

And there I was, just thinking that the last faint shadow of David Cameron was being airbrushed out of history.

Well as I never watch TV, never read a paper and only pick the stories I wish to read from the BBC news website. I think that being here on the island will hopefully mean I will miss most of the "pre-election" jamboree!!

I will apply for a postal vote as I have no intention of spending close to £100 round trip home just to vote!!

Think you should re check the train prices Bernie , Mum's going to Stubbington ( few miles away from Gosport) in Hampshire next month £ 28 frist class one way , and we live in Suffolk . £ 56 for both ways not exactly £100 and you've got half the travel .
Mind you i've got a postal vote so ain't botherd and mum will get a few extra £'s for being a polling clerk so can't be bad :-)

Edit :
spose you're lucky Bernie on the IOW you might just miss out on gobshite Stugeon mouthing off like she does .

Well, many are saying that May has miscalculated. I beg to differ. I think she has done this purposely as the majority of Scots are fed up with Sturgeon. What a better way to depose her, let her fellow countrymen/women teach her a lesson :-)

Please turn the swearing down again. Even when you hide it in between other letters, everyone can still read you're saying 'shit'. That's now twice for one day, clean up your language.

well, https://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2012/05/the-7-dirty-words-turn-40-but-theyre-still-dirty/257374/
watch out for the first line, it will corrupt you beyond redemption!

Now can you come up with a single sentence that uses all 7?

The BBC is reporting that George Osborne has been appointed Editor of the London Evening Standard - subject to the mildest of regulatory approvals.

It was. I quoted Richard's post because of the replies to that post.

Blackrock & Evening Standard would have left him no time to concentrating on being an MP.
