Hello,

I want to use the BOINC in my company to do some important job, but the only reason I can't use it is that I'm not sure when it will complete its jobs.

So I'm just wondering if you have any plan for prediction feature. BOINC now supports some scheduling policy(e.g., deadline first), but I think if the BOINC give me some information about the time when it will complete its job, it will be very helpful. Of course, I know BOINC is a Volunteer computing from the birth, so it must be hard to predict the completion time.

Here is one more thing, does the BOINC support dynamic scheduling?

BoincLogX, and add-on for BOINC reports predicted completion times for the various WU's. Right-click the BoincLogX icon in the task bar and select "Show overall view", then expand the various project entries to see the deadlines and estimated finish times. Its not dynamic, any time BOINC recalculates, you have to request the report again to see the new results. Perhaps the author will share his code.

If it's a local network, it should even be possible to combine the work generator with a remote control for the clients so the work generator can directly query all clients progress.
