Are they not handing out new tasks? I'm on a different project just now.

I don't know, on the website nothing is mentioned. I still have hundreds of completed WUs to upload but nothing happens
and get zero new ones. On all my machines at any location. So can't be in my network or so.

I have cleared all my uploads on all my host. Have fully restocked hosts now too.

Use the retry button on the stalled uploads. Then try an update.

It can also help to increase the number of project connections allowed from the default of two in the cc_config.xml file. I recommend increasing to eight.

Here is the entry I have on this daily driver.

<max_file_xfers>18</max_file_xfers>
<max_file_xfers_per_project>8</max_file_xfers_per_project>

Ok now it is working for me, too.
But thanks for the hint, I increased the number anyway :)

I'm using Boinctasks so it might be that not Boinc (both are badly made) - I've found "retry" and "retry all" don't always do as they should. So try a combination of them, make sure nothing has a timer for retry on it and keep hammering it (there seems to be no time you have to wait for uploading again like there is for getting tasks).

Oooh I like that! I thought the project enforced the two. Very helpful when getting a couple of huge files and a hundred tiny ones from a project, and having to wait for the two to get the other tasks going.

Yes, I can see where changing from the default is useful on both downloads and uploads. With the latter, I sometimes have files over 1GB to upload from testing which on bored band makes it a long wait for anything else!

I have 54Mbit FTTC here, but one of my old machines sometimes decides it'll use 0.25Mbit just for a laugh. The same machine sometimes decides it's USB ports don't exist (making BIOS changes impossible without finding a PS2 keyboard (!), or whatever GPU is in it will not have a display output.

CPDN main site not loading for me. (Not that there is any work there atm anyway.)

Edit: Hopefully, taking advantage of the lack of work to make any changes they want.

No surprise, but I figured I'd post that BOTH iThena projects have been unreachable for over 27 hours so far.

Project goes walkabout quite frequently for several hours and then return for more uptime, rinse and repeat over and over.

Project Admin rarely communicate with users either via forums or through Twitter.

iThena Measurements down for 12 hours. And before that server disks were full for 2(3?) days so no uploads...

Wery poorly maintained project.

Collatz uncontactable, even web server at https://boinc.thesonntags.com/collatz/

I got "[error] Error reported by file upload server: File uploads are temporarily disabled." at 7/6/22 4:32pm UTC
Then after that one message, no access to anything at all.

Edit: Just found this: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=14688#108325

The guy is moving house.

If I click it, my computer tries to download a file called "download". It begins

Which looks corrupted.

* iThena Measurements project went offline / unreachable some time in last 8 to 9 hours after about 2 1/2 days of server disk full.

Won't be holding my breath that a permanent fix will ever be implemented. LOL

Peter, if that's what you're seeing then there's a problem with your computer and or web browser as the link points to the main NFS website https://escatter11.fullerton.edu/nfs/

Peter, if that's what you're seeing then there's a problem with your computer and or web browser as the link points to the main NFS website https://escatter11.fullerton.edu/nfs/
And that's where the link takes me. Opera and Edge try to save a file called "download", Firefox is ok. Looks like the site isn't very compatible. No other website has a problem for me in Opera or Edge. The contents of the file it downloads are thus (note the incomplete brackets in the first line, no wonder my browser can't interpret it, and compare to this page for example which begins "<!DOCTYPE html>")

        <h2>About ".PROJECT."</h2>
NFS@Home is a research project that uses Internet-connected
computers to do the lattice sieving step in the Number Field Sieve factorization of large integers.
As a young school student, you gained your first experience at breaking an integer into prime factors, such as 15 = 3 * 5 or 35 = 5 * 7. NFS@Home is a continuation of that experience, only with integers that are hundreds of digits long.
Most recent large factorizations have been done primarily by large clusters at universities. With NFS@Home you can participate in state-of-the-art factorizations simply by downloading and running a free program on your computer.
        <p>
Integer factorization is interesting from both mathematical and practical perspectives. Mathematically, for instance, the calculation of <a href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplicative_function\">multiplicative functions</a> in number theory for a particular number require the factors of the number. Likewise, the integer factorization of particular numbers can aid in the proof that an associated number is prime. Practically, many public key algorithms, including the <a href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSA\">RSA algorithm</a>, rely on the fact that the publicly available modulus cannot be factored. If it is factored, the private key can be easily calculated. Until quite recently, RSA-512, which uses a 512-bit modulus (155 digits), was commonly used but can now be easily broken.
        <p>
The numbers that we are factoring are chosen from the <a href=\"http://homes.cerias.purdue.edu/~ssw/cun/index.html\">Cunningham project</a>. Started in 1925, it is one of the oldest continuously ongoing projects in computational number theory. The third edition of the book, published by the American Mathematical Society in 2002, is available as a <a href=\"http://www.ams.org/online_bks/conm22/\">free download</a>. All results obtained since, including those of NFS@Home, are available on the Cunningham project website.
        <p> NFS@Home is hosted at <a href=\"http://www.fullerton.edu\">California State University Fullerton</a>, and is supported in part by the <a href=\"http://www.nsf.gov\">National Science Foundation</a> through <a href=\"https://www.xsede.org\">XSEDE</a> resources provided by the <a href=\"http://www.tacc.utexas.edu\">Texas Advanced Computing Center</a>, the <a href=\"http://www.sdsc.edu\">San Diego Supercomputer Center</a>, the <a href=\"http://www.ncsa.illinois.edu\">National Center for Supercomputing Applications</a>, and <a href=\"http://www.rcac.purdue.edu/\">Purdue University</a> under grant number TG-DMS100027.

Displays normally in both Opera and Chrome for me. Don't even know if edge will run using WINE on Linux so not tested that one.
