How come the Oooops is always on a weekend?
Because the person fiddling with it goes home at 4 pm on a Friday, finished or not?

Fiddled with something and created the issue... Then went home at 4 pm when they could not figure out how to un-Fiddle, and could not find anyone willing to stay late to help.

A lot DID get fixed; now the project people need to get to their work computers to fix the rest, because outside connections aren't working.

The project needs external access to servers at the university, which is not normally allowed, for security reasons.
We're a bit of a problem for the Oxford people at times. :)

However, my backup plan is working fine; I just paused the task that was nearing completion, and started running another task that I had.
(One task at a time, because the n216 are a memory hog.)

Apparently these workers have done it again, and the project people are "having a few words" with the Oxford IT people. :)

Whoever it is, there's been an Oops.
That will explain why the work hadn't all gone when I looked at the server status page this morning for the first time in almost a fortnight.

The project has been having "storage issues". Frequently running out of storage space for way too many months now on their BOINC SERVER, which I believe is "virtual cloud based".
Hopefully the prolonged down time means they are fixing that problem until the next time it happens in a few day to a weeks time.

TN Grid appears to be down. Uploads are failing and no access to the forum.

iThena Project is back on line after almost 48 hours being dark.... and crickets from the project admins explaining the outage.

It appears that the SiDock@home servers and website are down. I've completed jobs and the results can't be uploaded. Not sure how long it's been down -- it's been at least a couple of hours (US PDT).

All accesses to TN-Grid have been timing out since between 0520 and 0715 UTC today.

Edit: The website is back up, but uploads and scheduler requests are still failing.

I can't get to the Universe website. I don't know about tasks, I am taking a break for a while to work on SiDock.

Confirmed Universe@home is currently unreachable and if you ping the url it times out.

I blame it all on Team L'Alliance Francophone who dropped all their bunkered tasks today. The upload server always had issues with too many uploads in progress. Those bunkered results probably overwhelmed the server.

why would they bunker tasks?

the whole CAMK network http://www.camk.edu.pl/en is down not just universeathome
(Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center, Polish: Centrum Astronomiczne im. MikoĊ‚aja Kopernika)

when scheduled maintenance
the project always gave notice in the manager and message board,
so this seems to be unscheduled

PAN https://institution.pan.pl/ is ok but has no news why CAMK is down

in (anti)social media accounts of CAMK I couldn't find any explanations either

it's a black friday weekend, if anyone is really in the hurry to find out why

one could try call numbers listed here: https://camkpan.bip.gov.pl/
