My machine DESKTOP-724EV7H has not received any new tasks from Einstein@Home since yesterday, 30 September 2020, but my machine is receiving work from Rosetta@home.

Coincidentally, or not, my machine received a new Windows 10 update last night, but I think I dealt with that by making a Windows Firewall Exception for BOINC.src, which allowed work from Rosetta@home, but no/no tasks are coming in from Einstein@Home.

Is Einstein@Home out of work, or down, or is there a change I need to make in my BOINC set up to resume getting work from Einstein@Home?

Getting Einstein work here just fine on both machines working it.

Turn on the work fetch debug logging and see if you are asking for Einstein work.

On new set-ups Rosetta is notorious for downloading far too much work and swamping the cache. It is very possible that the work fetch is saying it cannot cope with the jobs in hand and won’t get more until the cache empties.

Work fetch debug is a bit heavyweight for the initial investigation. I would start with sched op debug - that's lightweight, and can be left running all the time.

website http://universeathome.pl/universe/ won't load and completed tasks won't load up to server.

Universe is back down. It seems to be an expired certificate this time.
My uploads are stuck, etc.

Haven't attracted any admins attention yet. Been down since 11AM PDT when the certificate expired. BOINC won't allow connections to projects with invalid security certificates. So our up and downloads are stuck.

GPUGrid task failures

All my Linux tasks issued after about 12:30 UTC today (Weds 7 October) started to fail instantly.
All Windows tasks issued about an hour later failed the same way.

The GPUGrid server is very difficult to reach currently, probably because of the large number of tasks failing and being reported/replaced, but we suspect a license expiry on their software (as has happened before).

Please set 'No New Tasks' on this project for the time being, to reduce the load while we investigate further.

I've only just got through to their forums for the first time since I posted (it helps a lot not to request an https connection). No response from the administration yet, but I've sent a PM off to Toni.

Edit - message from Toni in the news forum.

Suspending project - Until we update the app. Sorry.

GPUGrid has deployed replacement apps.

Work has started flowing again, but is in short supply - it'll take a while to re-fill everyone.

I had a power cut here, the database crashed, trying to restore the database backup from earlier today, sorry for that. This can take a while...
