Hi there

I've downloaded BOINC git repo, installed software(all parts including client, server and so on),
create a project with make_project script with test app(I passed --test_app to script)
and now want to launch test app and emulate real using of BOINC server.
But I don't understand how to do this.
I've copied a client directory from repo directory to project directory and attach to the project
by launching boinccmd. Also I don't understand how to log in into server as administrator.
Can you give some short tutorial what to do next?
P.S.:I work on Linux(Ubuntu 14.04)

Thank you in advance.

Hi Alex,

have you read this: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/QuickStart ?

Other information about operating a BOINC project are here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/ProjectMain#Overviewdocumentsreadthesefirst

After creating a project there is a readme.projectname file in the project root directory. Also when you run make_project you see the URLs you can use to see the public website or access the ops section.

Regards
Christian
