A practical example: I checked several projects and none of them have a sitemap.xml nor a robots.txt.
Even this website only has the robots file but no sitemap.
On Google Search it's often impossible to find my own profile when I look for it, even though the profiles are not set to noindex, so those could be improved too - but I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew.

We can start with a robots.txt that specifies the location of the sitemap and a solid sitemap that clearly lists #1 all the project’s pages and #2 all the forum pages.
This would greatly help with visibility and therefore promotion, especially because, as I said, even existing users can’t find what they’re looking for on Google, let alone people who aren’t users yet.
