Description

I have downladed the current software release "http://boincdl.ssl.berkeley.edu/dl/boinc_6.2.19_windows_intelx86.exe" for my Windows XP (SP3) system. I get an unexpected notice from the InstallShield? Wizard after I started this executable.

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'BOINC.msi' in the box below.

This happened also with a few earlier releases.

This is a problem with the older BOINC.msi file on the system. See this FAQ for options of how to get rid of it.
