Need clarification on command line options for BOINCMGR

Description

Need clarification on AVAILABLE command line options for BOINCMGR. Command line "/h" really doesn't provide any useful information, especially when attempting to remote to a different computer in the same local network. The command line "-allow_remote_gui_rpc" returns an error even if preceeded with two hypens ('--'). The "/i" option sometimes works on NON-XP os' (i.e. win98 is ok). Some help would be appreciated in providing a list of active command line options when the "/h" command is appended to BOINCMGR program name.

  • keywords changed from boincmgr help to boincmgr.

-allow_remote_gui_rpc is for the BOINC client, not the manager. I wasn't even aware of the manager having any command line options!

If you meant to use options for the BOINC client, they can be found at http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/BoincCmd and (for the BOINC Command tool) at http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/UnixClient
