Hey all.
Just installed bionic on my computer today, and restarted it twice (full power off), but upon running boinicmngr.exe, it says I need to reboot before I can use BIONIC. Why is this, and how can I fix it? It's pretty annoying. I am running Windows 8.1 64 bit. In case this matters, the data directory in not within the directory with the .exes. That was my only idea as to why this might happen. Thanks for ANY help!

Remove the RebootPending.txt file from the Programs directory (default C:\Program Files\BOINC\) and then start BOINC.

The data directory cannot be within the programs directory, as the programs directory is a protected directory structure to which Windows does not allow programs to actively write to. The default data directory path is C:\Programdata\BOINC\ and it will be a hidden directory.
