Is there any way for science app to discover how many app instances in fly currently under BOINC?
And second question - if app would interest in different app?

What I mean: Let say some project has 2 different apps: A and B.

1) is it possible for app A to know how many instances of A BOINC currently runs?
2) is it possible for A to know how many copies of B BOINC currently runs?

I asked the developers and got as answer in principle, an app could make a GUI RPC to the client to see what other tasks are running.
