I upgraded to OSX 10.9.1 and when running Boinc got an error message saying it could not communicate with the internet. I"m on a Mac Pro - mid 2010, quad core Intel, ATI Radeon HD 5770, 1024 MB. I'm on Boinc version 7.2.33, WxWidgets 2.8.10. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you reinstall BOINC after upgrading to OSX 10.9.1?

Did you try to just reinstall BOINC?
Have you read the Readme.rtf file in the BOINC programs directory for clues?

Another person had a similar problem. In his case OSX didn't set up name resolution correctly.

If you are still having problems could you enable <http_debug> log flag and post a snippet from BOINC's Event Log where BOINC tries to contact a project.
