For two monthes or so I have frequent works stopped with a "computing error" message. It is frustrating when after 6 or more hours of work, all is lost. Any hints ?

Hmm, I don't know. How about you giving us any hints on system used, project you're talking about etc.

(1) Windows XP,
(2) BOINC version 7.0.64
(3) All errors seems to be on pieces of work starting with FAHV_ (but not all of them)
(4) All have an exit code 293 (0x125) [of help only if it means something different of "computing error" ...]
Thanks,
Marc

You would want to hook up with the WCG forums to present your problem. FAHV is the VINA version of the FightAIDS@Home project hosted by WCG.

edit: Could not find an exit code 293 on the FAAH forum section, but there were a few in the BETA forum. Please post in FAAH and copy/paste a Result Log in your support request. [My Grid > Result Status > Click on Error link of a failed task.]

edit2: Seems this 293 fail was discussed in Beta in this thread http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,32382_offset,0#358976 and seemed related to clients that did not run 100% CPU time i.e. were throttled and or Antivirus software interference.
