ClimatePrediction.net servers are supposed to be up - is it just me or is everyone having this kind of behaviour with their clients:
21-Aug-2013 08:28:30 [climateprediction.net] Started upload of hadcm3n_n1ea_1920_40_008378112_2_2.zip
21-Aug-2013 08:28:33 [---] Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
21-Aug-2013 08:28:33 [climateprediction.net] Temporarily failed upload of hadcm3n_n1ea_1920_40_008378112_2_2.zip: can't resolve hostname
21-Aug-2013 08:28:33 [climateprediction.net] Backing off 46 min 41 sec on upload of hadcm3n_n1ea_1920_40_008378112_2_2.zip
21-Aug-2013 08:28:36 [---] Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.

and this has been going on for some .. 2 weeks. Last week I think the client was briefly able to connect the server but was getting empty responses or some other error.

I moved your post out of the CPDN News thread, so we can leave that thread for news. As this is a project specific problem, you best ask at their own forums for help on this one.
