Hey guys,

I have recently decided to kick my CPU up a notch.
Intel Xeon X3220 2.4 GHz now running on 3.0 GHz. All nice and stable.
A day or two after that, I started getting "computation error" on SETI@home tasks.
Could there be a link?

You may want to ask that at Seti, as:
a) there people can check up on your system what the errors exactly are;
b) for what application the errors are.

BOINC is a managing program, it does not do any science, it does the scheduling and storing of the work. So any computation errors are done by the project applications. Not by BOINC.
