Some in my online life have no doubt wondered about my 'kitty craziness'.
It is not just a thing I do for play.
My kitties are my life.........and so this has tossed me a bit.
I do know that kitties are not forever. They have such short lives compared to ours.\

I lost my first to CRF years ago, and struggled to keep her going for 9 months with subQ fluids in her back every day.
I lost my second, dear Squirrel, due to old age. She blessed me with over 18 years of unconditional love, which I shall never forget.

As a single man who never married, my cats are my children. Though not flesh and bone, they are my beloved.

Tigger is the reason I have the 3 littermate kitties......when the original Tigger passed, the girl I got Tigger and Squirrel from asked me if I wanted new kittens.......well....I did not at first, but then they were born.......
And when one of them was another orange tabby like the one I had just lost, I could not resist. Same barnyard kitty rescue mother kitty.

Yes, cats are my life. Along with my work, Lori my love, and Seti.
My 'meows', I guess, are just a way of acknowledging the large part that kitties have in my life, so please do try to understand that.

Such a strange life I pursue at times, but it is my life.

Tigger is doing OK this morning, and says meow to those who care.

Mark, the last thing Tigger needs is for you to be drinking yourself into a stupor. I love my vino at times too, but when my granimals or kids are ill, I don't touch the stuff.
I know you are doing everything to help prolong her life with you and at a very steep cost.
Your battle at this time: Is it for me or her. Been there and done that. Not judging, the way this ends. But please for her sake. Empty the bottle and don't open another one.

As you know, three of my friends crossed the rainbow bridge in less than 10 month. I share your worry.

I had to say goodbye to my last 2 cats during the past year, so for the first time in about 40 years I don't have one.

I cleaned up, didn't move but deleted. That's one of my new resolutions. I'm stuck enough already as it is, and really don't need more stress -however little- from anyone around here. So if you don't believe in posting your crap in the right thread, you probably don't mind it being gone the next day either.

Even with the problems you have with your cats, you have to conform to the forum rules we have here. And one of those, specially set up for you, is that you post your Youtube links in any of your own threads. So as not to annoy the rest of the constabulary.

If that is too difficult for you, and you then have to resort into yelling at me, you know where the door is. Log off, don't come back until you can behave.

Posts about the health and well-being of your cats are still standing. I merely removed most posts that had the totally unnecessary links to Youtube videos. You can post monologues all you want here on these boards, in this thread, but there is no need to continually post links to a video service alongside them.

So, when I post about my well-being, you'll notice I don't have to post a link to my favorite artists to bring that under words. We all wish you wouldn't need that either, at least, not in this thread.

Just too bad of that 7 terabytes of data that got lost when the NAS crashed and reconfigured itself last night. Appears the HDDs are in an unreadable state due to having been subjected to 118 degrees centigrade (I just see HDD1 was subjected to 130 degrees C). Internal. Jikes.

So, all series lost.
All films lost.
Luckily most of my music map was still on my own system.

Am now looking for a new NAS, but also emailing Shuttle that I want to RMA this one to them, and probably that they should send me two new 4TB drives. It's their fan that failed. On a 2 year old NAS the fan shouldn't fail.
