Use iTunes, much better & safer :-)

Partially used i-Tunes on second 5C to get ringtone restored, and, (if I remember right), to get the pictures copied from the first phone, to the computer, and from the computer to the second phone. Since it was a procedure I hoped NOT to need to repeat, I didn't memorize the steps... Hence the upcoming AppleCare call at 2 PM Pacific.

Very unamused with i-Phones above 4S at this point... Anyone else have problems with 5x to 6x??? I'm aware of the "bendable" 6x i-phones... I don't think this bodes well for Tim Cook... (He's no Jobs.)

File/Add folder to library. I use that for music/videos/photos. Phone syncs whenever it's connected. I had a 5C nothing but trouble with powering on. I'm sticking to the 4S :-)

Off to the Beta message boards to see why my phone is still getting "down for maintenance" when it contacts the scheduler.

I realize I am not all to everybody.
In fact, I an nothing to many.

This given, I do wish that some would recognize the complexities of what I am or am not.

I have dreams...many dreams. The Seti project and it's possibilities are just one facet of who I am.
What we are, what we might some day become. Who we may meet upon our journey.

I. Me. Mark. Kittyman.

We, as is to say 'I'. I have a lot of problems to deal with, and I do, usually.

I have had a lot of friends here. I have also had a few back stabbers.
Who continue until this day to try to derail me.

I have been good enough at derailing myself so as to not need any help...LOL.

A very few have been kind enough to continue to call me 'friend' for oh so many years now. Some have not.

My position have always been.....
You take away from my posts and positions anything that you could possibly find enlightening. Or perhaps something that might give you a thread of strength when you are down. Or that last thread that keeps you hanging on.

Something to hang on to.

A kindred soul that is lost and lonely, and has not other place to go, such as yourself.

If you do not understand, I cannot make you do so.
I share what I can, the rest is up to you.

I live on the same planet that you do.

I just tend to the little corners of it that few of you venture to inhabit.

I fear that even though I may be allowed back on the boards come a few days from now, I am less interested than ever in being there.

Inane posts to advance a last person to post thread.
People who post the same post over and over again. For what?
It is not amusing at all/.

I go now...to sleep, and again to work.
At least I have a life's work to take pride in.

And that little rant being said, let me advise each and every one of you that life is indeed rather fine for the ol' kittyman.

As a lifelong manic depressive, I do have my bad moments.

But the good far outweighs the bad, and let me tell ya kids....not even I can convince myself otherwise most of the time.

I have been working a lot of long hours lately. I was kinda hoping to have tomorrow off, as it's supposed to be the nicest day weatherwise of the year so far. But....mandatory OT again...meowsigh. I cannot complain TOO much, as I get paid very very well for OT hours. It keeps both the kitties and the crunchers fed.

And my demeanor has improved dramatically this week with the amazingly fine weather we have had. Seasonal depressive disorder hits me very hard at the end of winter when I just want to scream for spring to arrive.
My favorite season of the year.

All of God's creations are ready to spring forth from their winter's slumbers and hibernations. Squirrels and birds venture forth again, and a billion tree buds start to swell and prepare to unfurl in all their glory.

I am a happy kittyman.
And don't let me try to tell you otherwise....LOL.

Not ones of your own, as that is turned off to lighten the load on the database.

Just got home from workinG OT, and I see all but 5 of my pendings have validated to the tune of about 1.5 million credits.
And I have 52 new AP in play that the kitties have managed to catch for the crunchers!

Sure was a long wait for them to come home.
But nice to see they finally have.
Hope that Matt's plans work well, and we can get on with crunching AP full time again.

Thanks once more for your kindness, Jord.

Posting about 12 hours before the estimated weekly outrage starts since I probably will have forgotten about this by then....

TheFineBros present: Kids react to another old technology, the VCR!

When the kids were told that people often used their VCRs to record their favorite TV shows onto VHS tapes, they thought it was cool but wondered why people didn't just hit the record button on their TV remote control...
