@Chris, it isn't just his drinking, it is his bi-polar condition. I suspect when he starts drinking that affects the concentration of his medications in his bloodstream. Chemically some dissolve better or worse in the presence of alcohol. If he isn't getting the right amount of them going where they are needed .......

Of course, if he didn't have a drinking problem, then he would stay stable, but frequently bi-polar's detest being stable. Some have come to love the highs and lows. I don't know if that applies to Mark though.

I have a Mood Disorder. I have been on medication for it since 2007. I choose to take the medication to keep me stable. I wish Mark would do the same, and stop self medicating with alcohol.

I feel that he has become a LARGE detriment to ALL the boards he goes to. Self medicating with large quantities of alcohol is NOT the way to go.

I wish him well, and pray for him to beat his addiction to alcohol. However; it is his choice. For me, I choose stability.

Good luck Mark.

For my sanity; however, I must block your ID from view. I won't tolerate your language anymore.

You have already been asked nicely to not use the F word, please comply.

OH, get off of your little podium, Chris.
It is quite the nodding off thingy.

Well, let me step onto my little podium then and ask again to clean up your language. I normally do not warn twice, Mark. No more swearing. You can type everything you want without having to swear about it as well.

I can too....
I hack millions of words itto the ether mist. I swear when I find my emotions require it. I shall continue to refrain for now.
Thanks, Jord.

Benda Lee's single was released in '59...
I cannot right now find the date when Wanda Jackson released her version.

Given the circumstances, having had the tape in my own hands, I should be able to recite the date, minute and hour the DJ first aired it.
She stared at me so intently at that moment.

But my mind is failing me more than the Seti servers right now.

I like Brenda's version very well also.

BTW, Matt responded, and has kicked the servers.
Crickets are responding as we speak.
Yes, kids, I do have some bit on influence on the project.

Meow for now.

Jord....
I have to respect you for your modding.
You are nothing but respectful of me.
Sorry if my emotions led me to post something that you would have to take action upon. I shall try not to do it again.
Cannot promise. But I shall try.

Work for you?

I am at this time, a 58yo work in progress.
I am not finished yet.
Never shall be, I suppose.
Each day brings new events that I have to deal with.
Each day hes some new possibilited that I have to assess and deal with accordingly.

Life has dealt me some bad cards at times, but one has to play the only hand that is given. I have done so, and have worked them to the best advantage I could at the time in play.

When things go south, I tend to overreact. I get angry, and then the kittyman becomes a raging cougar.
It is just where I have to go to recover. Cats have very sharp claws, my friend.

When I recover, and the claws retract, I am the same ol' kittyman you know and love.

Just please try to understand what is going on when I slash. It is really not about any of you, just slashing at air, and if you happen to get in the way, there shall be blood let. NOT about any of your specifically.
You just might have been in the general area of my paws.
This is NOT your problem, but my own.

Just walk away for those few moments, and all shall be well.

I think it may have been Eric himself that once said......
Mark, post anything you want, but nothing you would be sorry for in the morning.
I do try.

I've just moved all the latest entries/links of music to the Youtube thread. I want to ask you to post them there directly, Mark. They've got nothing whatsoever to do in the Seti outage thread. This thread is for loose banter, not to overtake it as your personal Youtube index.

I also thank you for the yeoman work Jord. The only catch is, the yeoman is usually in the red shirt. ;)

I think Gary meant a yeoman in TOS, perhaps one in TNG. Although there may not have been any in TNG anymore, and if there were they may have worn light blue.

Not sure you quite cut it in that respect Jord :-)))

Ah, the real reason all us teenage boys liked the show. The guys in the red shirt beamed down, but usually didn't beam back up.
