Greetings.
Today i installed boinc on my new pc and noticed strange behavior.
When i exit boinc program, tasks which i am computing not stopping and still running on background (i can see processes in task manager and they consuming cpu resourses).

Is there any way to fix it? Situation looks really annoying...

Which OS? Which Boinc version, is Boinc 6.10.x, 6.12.x or one of the latest Boinc 7.0.x versions?

How did you install Boinc?, was it a 'Protected Application Execution' installation (aka a Service Installation), or a Normal Installation?
on a Service Installation, the client runs all the time, even when no one is logged on, to get out of that you'd have to stop the service, uninstall Boinc, Reboot i think, then reinstall Boinc, but go into the Advanced menu and don't tick the 'Protected Application Execution' installation box.

Or did you just exit Boinc Manager (the GUI), while leaving the Boinc client running? is boinc.exe still running in task manager (assuming you're running a normal installation)

Do you get a 'Boinc Manager - Exit Confirmation' box on trying to exit Boinc?

If not, go to 'Tools>Options' (assuming Boinc 6.12.x or 7.0.x), or 'Advanced>Options' (assuming Boinc 6.10.x), Make sure both 'Run Manager at login?' and 'Show Boinc Manager exit dialog?' are ticked,

Now try and exit Boinc Manager, If you want to fully exit Boinc Manager and the Boinc client, tick the 'Stop running tasks when exiting the Boinc Manager',
tick the 'remember this decision' box to not show the dialog again.
