I just upgraded to BOINC 7.0.28 and now when Rosetta, (minirosetta 3.43) runs a window pops up on my screen. If I close it it just comes back. The only options are to minimize it or suspend work for the project. This is unacceptable. I share my computer with BOINC but I am not going to let it take over.

Same problem here. Only projects running are Seti and Rosetta. Starting this morning, Rosetta started putting up graphics windows (uncommanded) for each of the Rosetta tasks running and restarted the windows every couple of minutes or so. Running with GPU option set to "on".

I have a suspicion that this is a Rosetta problem, not BOINC manager.

It's indeed a Rosetta problem. Complain about it on their forums: http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/forum_thread.php?id=6120

It was indeed a Rosetta problem that just happened to show up just as I upgraded. Rosetta@home has fixed it now.
Thank you,
