Hello,

I have been running BOINC manager with world community grid projects for a quite a while now, and decided to try GPU Grid too , using the same manager.

The WCG projects are working perfectly, but I can't get any gpu grid working.

I have to mention that I have a GTS 250 video card, the latest driver version available (306) and am doing any overclock.

It seems to receive "computing error" at just a few seconds after beginning a unit.

BOINC doesn't do any of the computing, so computing errors is something you have to ask the project about. It's their science application and work that's making the errors, so best ask them on how to resolve this.

Hi,

I just wanted to say that some projects involving the GPU are so sensitive to overclocking and heat which will cause computation errors. Also, with some of the faster cards out there, you might have to slow them down in order to get results from the workunits from GPU's (The only cause I am aware right now for this statement is Prime Grids Genefer World Record. Don't know about GPUGrid.)
