it appears on my view computers page on any project i run it says "Authentic AMD processor Unknown".

how do i get it recognized for what is is?

let me add that it says this even though i've tried both Suse10(32bit) and WinXP Pro.

When you boot Linux. What do you see in /proc/cpuinfo?

In general, this information is set by the BIOS of the machine.

I would rather see my 165 not running 100% cpu usage on both cores.
I am ready to leave project if this continues.

Doesn't changing the number of processors to use in the general preferences work?
