I am using Windows XP Pro and my BOINC screen saver starts after 3 minutes and my monitor powers down after 30 minutes. If I move my mouse after the monitor powers down, I get a blank screen with only the mouse pointer visible. The programs I had running are apparently still running and seem to respond to keyboard commands, but the screen remains blank. If I wait 3 minutes the BOINC screen saver kicks in and then if I move my mouse then the display returns to normal and everything looks fine. I am using SETI@home and Einstein@home
