Does it exist a Boinc for SPARC cpu's?

Hi, I don't know if this is a misplaced idea or what but... I think you should do a Boinc client that runs on Solaris on Sparc cpu's. Maybe this would expand your horizon to high computing capacity servers that can really do math very quick. Daniel. |

Ok, I've downloaded and installed the Solaris for amd64, it is working OK. But when I started it with a proyect it says: 2011-11-18 13:45:43 [SETI@home] Message from server: This project doesn't support computers of type i386-pc-solaris 2011-11-18 13:45:43 [SETI@home] Message from server: This project doesn't support computers of type i386-pc-solaris I still would like to contribute no any other project, I'm looking for a project that support this type of computer, but with no luck.. any ideas? |

Now I'm sad! The same people who built BOINC for SPARC will also have built a Seti application for SPARC. See for instance at http://www.dotsch.de/boinc/SETI@home%20applications.html |
