Hi
I have installed boinc package on Linux Mint Debian Edition.

it works but I have a problem with the computing setup. The only time Boinc consider the computer busy is when I use the consol… any other application is not taken into account, stop the computing resume…

Do you have any idea on how to solve that?

Thanks

It is actually not that, I have tried.

While typing this message Boinc continue to compute. I do have to open or type in a console to have it suspended …

Any other idea?

Thanks

Are you running BOINC with Activity -> Based on preferences, or another option? If at Run Always, set it back to Based on preferences, as Run Always will ignore preferences such as these.

It doesn't really interfer but en terms of noise…
Noise when i am not in the room is not a problem, but when I am working it is not fun…

if doing it manually, I will never restart it…

Boinc manager 6.12.33 and Boinc:6.12.33+dfsg1.1

The activity is based on preference. And actually it works perfectlly when I am busy with the console. It stop and restart after 3 minutes as set.
