Hello,
Since a few days ago my boinc release has been crashing my gpu (nvidia) kernel each and every time I try to run gpu calculations.
Gpu is working fine on all other applications, and no changes have been made both to the physical system or to the software environment.
Am I the only one having this issue? Any ideas on how could I solve it?
I have tried reinstalling boinc as well as uninstalling and then reinstalling gpu drivers, without any improvement.
Basically as soon as boinc starts running gpu calculus the whole system freezes for about 10 secs, after which I get the following error:
"Nvidia kernel driver stopped working and has been restored"... this is an approximate translation, I receive the message in my native language (Italian).

I would really like to keep on contributing with my spare CPU and GPU time. What can I do?

Thank you
Francesco

I am getting this error on all projects that use nvidia gpus, i.e. GPUgrid and SETI.
I have the latest drivers from nvidia, namely version 280.26, I'm running windows 7 x 64.
Thank you

Francesco
