Every time I restart my computer BOINC gives me an error message that says "the password supplied is incorrect" and it doesn't connect. The only way I have figured out to fix this is to re-download BOINC and run the repair option in the installation software. Has anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it? Thanks.

I've had this problem as well, and the repair option you mention is the only way I can get it to start up again. This is the third time I've had to do this.

I'm having other problems as well but I'll wait to see if they're reproducable as well before reporting them. I've just bought a new machine and am still getting my head around Windows 7 so I want to be sure it isn't something simple before raising the issue.

This normally only happens when you have installed BOINC as administrator and run with another (limited user/power user) account that isn't allowed to control BOINC through BOINC Manager. You have no permission to read anything from the BOINC (Data) directory.

Outside of that, without any information about your system, your OS, your BOINC version, (OS) error messages or logs, there is nothing we can do to try to help.
