Hi,
I've noticed a problem with BOINC manager under my Linux.

Since few days, my ATI HD5970 is always running out of tasks.
I've noticed the problem with both 6.12.26 and 6.12.28.

Each time, i've to click on my update button to send and to get new tasks.
It's like the scheduler isnt working well.
Sometime the update button works, sometime it doesnt.
Here's an example when it doesn't:
Fri 27 May 2011 11:39:52 PM EDT | Moo! Wrapper | update requested by user
Fri 27 May 2011 11:39:55 PM EDT | Moo! Wrapper | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
Fri 27 May 2011 11:39:55 PM EDT | Moo! Wrapper | Reporting 1 completed tasks, not requesting new tasks
Fri 27 May 2011 11:39:56 PM EDT | Moo! Wrapper | Scheduler request completed

I've 2 projects and both projects react the same. I see the communication deferred, then, when that time is over, i see nothing in my event log.

OS: ubuntu 11.04 AMD64

And since i've noticed this problem, its like its happening on my office's desktop too.

This one is running Ubuntu 10.04.2 AMD64 BOINC 6.10.56

Is there any way to automatiquelly makes the update to occurs so i'm forcing the update to happens.

btw, ive tried the ATI 5970 under windows, this is working perfectly.

I've pressed the update for my 2nd project and now this one is working:

Fri 27 May 2011 11:44:40 PM EDT | Milkyway@home | update requested by user
Fri 27 May 2011 11:44:41 PM EDT | Milkyway@home | Scheduler request completed: got 20 new tasks

Like you can see, I was out of tasks with this project.
