I haven't been able to do transfers for about a week now, and the messages tab shows "Project file upload handler is missing" for both of the affected projects.

My other computer is unaffected.

I have version 6.10.58. Should I try reinstalling?

Which projects and are they otherwise available? (Check their forums, can everyone else upload?)

SETI @Home and climateprediction.net. And as I said, my other computer, working on the same 2 projects, can make transfers just fine. It's clearly local to this box.

I did try un- and re-installing, but with no effect.

You'd better ask at the projects anyway, as the file_upload_handler runs at the project server, on the upload server.

Now, it's possible that the work you have is corrupted. You can do a disk check for that, make sure that BOINC isn't running while you run chkdsk (or similar).

Thanks, I'll try that.

And, it was indeed corrupted work. Chkdsk found them but it took a proper defrag to fix it, and this morning my completed work uploaded hitch-free. Thanks Ageless!
